'Mitchell Falls'. A whopping 198 x 101cm, acrylic on belgian linen. I'm normally so overcritical of my own work, but i absolutely LOVE this one! I must have found that elusive 'flow state' or 'zone', and it all just developed so seamlessly from the get go. I tried to get as loose as possible with this one; splatters, scrapes, squiggles, thick brush marks, all whilst trying to convey the beautiful depth and colours of the subject.
